We are doing our first HiSeq2000 run. Proof:
Bottom Middle Sheath artifact. Are we part of the "in crowd" now?
Our HiScanSQ never saw this artifact because it cannot scan the bottom surface of the flow cell.
Advice for for the heart attack prone HiscanSQ user doing their first Hiseq2000 run: do not worry if your flow cell looks under clustered. The Hiseq HCS shows single channel thumbnails on the screen. The HiscanSQ HCS shows dual channel thumbnails -- hence they appear to have twice the density of a Hiseq HCS image of the same flow cell.
