Default Suggestions for pre-Library Prep QC on FFPE samples

We are running a pilot study on FFPE tissue for WGS.

Any suggestions on how to check the DNA before starting library construction?

I have seen vendors recommending qPCR-based assay to determine DNA quality prior to library prep for FFPE samples.
