Dear all,
I was trying to figure out what the kit ThruPLEX contains.
In the US Patent 8,206,913 there are a lot of interesting info about the more recent PicoPLEX kit, so one can find out exactly what each tube contains.
However, for the ThruPLEX kit (US Patents 7,803,550-8,071,312-8,399,199) the protocols and PCR programs reported in the patent are completely different from the manual you get with the kit.
How the hairpin oligos work and how they don´t form dimers seems really clear...but I´m deeply confused about the rest!
Anybody out there who tried to figure out what he/she is doing when adding reagents from all those colourful tubes?
Thanks!
