What is "25 mer probes at 38 bp resolution"?

Hi,
Stuble upon a paper that talks about "Epigenetics meets Next-gen sequencing". There is a paragraph that mentioned on a tiling array with oligonucleotide probes, is was manufactured with 25 mer probes at 38 bp resolution. Can someone explain what it means? thanks!

That means that each probe is 25-nucleotides long, and a probe starts every 38 basepairs - ie. there is a 13 basepair gap between any consecutive two probes.

My guess would be 25-mer probes (25 bases long), with probes spaced 38 bases apart. It could mean 38 bases between midpoint of probes or could possibly mean 38 bases from the end of one probe to the end of the next.
