Default plant genomes at NCBI

Dear all,
There are genome sequences for various plants at ftp://ftp.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/genomes/PLANTS/ which are of interest to me. However I cannot additional information about these sequences. I am more interested in supporting info about Vigna_unguiculata sequences.
Your help is welcome.

Looks like there is only BAC end clones for Vigna: http://vigun.comparative-legumes.org/.

I have looked at the link suggested and it appears the cowpea DNA used for BAC library preparation came from a back cross with a virus resistant variety? If that is the case then I think it would suit my purpose since I want to do a customised blast of contigs (from whole transcriptome sequencing) using BAC clones as the database.

Is the Vigna_unguiculata.BES.gz file at ftp site referring to BAC end clones?
