Default malloc error in cuffcompare

I'm getting a malloc error when running cuffcompare v0.8.2 on Mac OS X.
Here is the verbose messaging when the error appears:

 Missed introns:        77098/240992 ( 32.0%)
  Wrong introns:        3732/127345 (  2.9%)
 Missed loci:   0/25081 (  0.0%)
  Wrong loci:   100521/156958 ( 64.0%)
Tracking transcripts across 10 query files..

cuffcompare(42796) malloc: *** error for object 0x1d0630e20: incorrect checksum for freed object - object was probably modified after being freed.
*** set a breakpoint in malloc_error_break to debug
Abort trap
Has anyone else seen this? Cole et al, let me know if you want any additional data to help debug this.
