Our lab is deciding whether to use Illumina or Ion Torrent for our ongoing microRNA experiments. We are interested in both discovery and profiling. Ideally, we want the most sensitive instrument, but we're also concerned with ease of data analysis and time to results. Any real world examples from those that have used both?
