CLC bio, a global firm with headquarters in Aarhus, Denmark, is experiencing tremendous growth across the globe and is looking to expand our support team with an experienced IT specialist.
As our new IT specialist, you are interested and adept in problem solving, and enjoy interacting with people. You are passionate about providing excellent support to local, regional and global customers in collaboration with your 70 colleagues, both within our global headquarters in Denmark and at other CLC bio locations around the world. Each day involves new challenges and interactions. Your deep understanding of IT systems, including experience installing and administering server systems, and comfort working and advising on multiple operating systems, gives you the basis to provide comprehensive support across our product range to our broad customer base.
Main responsibilities
• Engaging with customers and co-workers to provide ideas and solutions related to our software products. This includes both desktop and advanced enterprise server solutions.
• Trouble-shooting diverse problems related to hardware and software installation and use.
• Participating in project groups and internal training on technical projects, including server and grid setups.
• Answering support questions through email and phone.
• Performing internet-based customer training sessions.
• Occasional travel for on-site technical support.
Minimum Requirements
• 2+ years of IT work experience, preferably in the context of scientific research high-performance computing.
• Experience with server and workstation administration.
• Excellent customer service skills, enthusiastic attitude, and solid work ethics.
• Drive to explore, find solutions and achieve results.
