    Next gen sequencing: urgent and updated instrument comparison

    Hello to everybody!
    I would like to purchase a NGS platform to perform deep RNA sequencing from both eukaryotic and prokaryotic origin, in addition to de-novo sequencing of bacterial genomes. NGSequenchers are continuously improving their performances so that I am wondering if somebody has already performed a detailed evaluation of updated performances (in addition to the evaluation of associated costs/Mb, benefits and pitfalls...) I can use to properly compare them and perform the appropriate choice.
