Default mm9 chromosome fasta file help

Hi, I'm new to bioinformatics analysis - but I was wondering what is the meaning of chromosomes labeled as "chrX_random", "chrY_random".

How do you interpret the regions of the 'random' chromosomes?

Reason those sequences are labelled "random" is because even though they are known to be on that chromosomes they can't be placed at a specific location. See: http://genome.ucsc.edu/FAQ/FAQdownloads#download10
