Default DeNovo WGA sequencing of diploid Drosophila

Hello,

This is considered a difficult but potentially achievable goal. The genome is ~200mb with potentially high levels of heterozygosity but much less repeat structure than a mammal. A further challenge are balanced inversions within inbreed lines that maintain high levels of polymorphism over long periods.

Can anyone point me to a project that has started from a typical wild-type Drosophila, amplified with something like Repli-G, sequenced with Illumina 2x100bp reads and got a reasonable assembly (or not), hopefully with SNP's called.

I want to know how you know the genome have high levels of heterozygosity. Thank you!
