Default MARS-seq (Parallel Single-Cell RNA-seq)?

Hi guys,

recently, a very interesting paper got published in Science how to do single-cell RNA-seq using a three-level barcoding system.

http://www.sciencemag.org/content/343/6172/776.abstract

We are trying to implement this in our lab. Any of you who has given it a try yet?

Thanks!

I'm wondering that whether we can use Nextera to prepare sequencing library for MARS-Seq just like STRT-C1 did. And use UMI and Spike-In to count the transcripts. That's might be very interesting.

STRT-C1:
Quantitative single-cell RNA-seq with unique molecular identifier
