Hello all, I am new to bioinformatics and have been searching about Bonferroni correction but could not find an answer yet..
So In my sample, the hyper-geometric p-value for each of 1000 GO term was calculated and among those only 5 of them had a significant p-value (less than 0.05). How would I calculate the Bonferroni correction to be able to know which Go term is enriched significantly?
Would I take the p-value of those 5 Go terms with significant P-value and divide by the number of hypotheses, which is 5 or 1000?
Thank you!!
