Igenome and BOWTIE prebuilt indexes both list RN4.
(Rat version4 )
Researchers here want to be certain that their NGS data is aligned to the latest and greatest.
UCSC Genome Browser allows choice of RN5 and I can download an RN5 GTF file there as well as the requisite chromosome fasta files.
Has anyone actually built a iGenome-like RN5? Care to share tips on how you did it?
And does anyone have information about when RN5 BOWTIE2 pre-built indexes or better still iGenome RN5 release indexes are to become available?
Thanks
