Multiplexing libraries of slightly different size

Hi everybody,

I would like to multiplex libraries of different size, in one case siRNA libraries (150 bp) and in other slightly bigger ones (around 200 bp).

Is the difference in size acceptable or do you think it would dramatically affect the efficiency of sequencing?

That much of a difference won't affect it-in my experience.

If you get more than 200 bases different, you need to cluster as though all are the larger size to prevent overlapping clusters.
