Post Two Open Bioinformatics Positions

The newly formed Texas AgriLife Genomics and Bioinformatics Core is currently recruiting a Senior Bioinformatics Scientist and Bioinformatics analyst to join our team.

Both positions require hands on next generation sequencing analysis experience. It is expected that the Scientist position will have personnel management experience and at least 5 years work experience. Experiences working with agriculture relevant species a plus.

The successful candidates will assist and guide a broad range of clients & biologists to solve ground breaking next generation sequencing analytical challenges. Texas AgriLife Research is Texas's premier research agency in agriculture and natural sciences. AgriLife Research is part of the Texas A&M System. The AgriLife Genomics and Bioinformatics Core brings together a team of exceptional genomic, bioinformatic, molecular, and computational scientists to meet the next generation sequencing and bioinformatics needs of the AgriLife community and beyond, offering sample and data processing as well as individualized consulting services.
