    maq compile error on Ubuntu

    I am trying to install maq on my Ubuntu pc. got following error when I run >make -f Makefile.generic:
    "i386:x86-64 architecture of input file 'const.o' is incompatible with i386 output."

    Can anyone help? please.

    it's working fine now. I forgot to do a "make clean" after the first build with 64bit option.
