Hi everyone
I'm new to the forum and quite new to RNA work too.
I would like to know if anyone has experience isolating RNA from saliva using RNA oragene kits and then using a niVANA Kit for extraction? We get quite good yields abd 260/280 ratios of around 1. 75-2.0 but we always see a large peak at around 230. We've been told that this might interfere with RNAseq work. I wonder if anyone could offer and advice on how we can clean the samples. Also we work in a small lab without speedvacs etc. Thanks all
