    does SOAPdenovo2 have an algorithm bias for repetitive elements above kmer 49?

    Hi all,

    We have been running SOAPdenovo for fungal genomes and have seen that there seems to be a bias for assembling repetitive elements and increasing assembly size with kmers above 49. Does anyone know is this is something that has to do with the algorithm?
