Hellow,
I started a transcriptome barcoding run in SOLiD4. After the barcoding sequencing was finish I realized that the read length for tag F3 was 5 bp instead of 50 bp. I would like to know if someone had this problem and if is possible to change the read length in this stage. Thanks all. |

Yes, but it is not trivial. We had this happen once. Applied Biosystems had a Bioinformatics Field Specialist remotely modify the run to the correct number of bases.
Not a minor undertaking, though. -- Phillip |
