Hi everyone,
in my lab we are trying to find a way for reduce the running costs of our new IonTorrent PGM sequencer... any suggestion? Anyone found cheaper reagents that can substitute the ones sold by Life Technology? |

We have checked out NEB kits, work OK (although still more expensive than I'd like).

A penny for your method: AMPure Substitute “[replacement for] a commonly used commercial kit (AMPure XP kit) for SPRI-clean-up steps with a home-made mix” |

genseq - thanks for the latest info!
How about the NEXTflex kits? Anyone had experience with their DNA-Seq kits or the barcoding? http://www.biooscientific.com/Detail...A%20Sequencing |

Has anyone tried halving the AmpliSeq PCR reactions? I understand this would change the PCR dynamics...

I did it with the cancer hotspot panel. Sequencing results are similar. Last edited by salyamoff; 04-03-2014 at 12:23 PM. |
