Hello bioinformatics gurus,
I am looking for recommendation for a reference assisted Illumina short-read-sequencing assembler. Am looking to assemble bacterial genomes of one serotype using as a reference a genome of another serotype of the same species. There are alot of flavors of assemblers out there and instead of trying them all, am hoping that someone whose already gone down this path can make a recommendation. Steve Beres |
