Hi,
We are going to use Nextera DNA prep kits for a Miseq run for the first time in our lab. We lack a "high speed" plate shaker at the moment, and it may take some time to get one. Does anyone have experience with alternative ways of homogenization without a plate shaker, or with a non-high speed shaker? I mean, something that's proven to work in your experience. We have a couple of old shakers, the higher we can get with these is 1200 RPM - none can shake in 1800 RPM as recomended in the kit protocol. Thanks a lot! |
