I had a quick look at new Rothberg startup QuantumSi and wrote my notes up here:

From the patents, they appear to be developing a somewhat PacBio like technology. Some have suggested this may have informed Illumina's acquisition of PacBio.

I've been building a list of all current sequencing startups/companies and writing up my notes here:
