Default GBS-SNP-CROP: a reference-optional pipeline for SNP discovery

Hi everybody, I wondering introduce and share the GBS-SNP-CROP: a reference-optional pipeline for SNP discovery and plant germplasm characterization using variable length, paired-end genotyping-by- sequencing data.
Recently published on BMC Bioinformatics, this methodology could be useful for population genomic studies in model and non model organism when or not a reference genome is available.

Please, see the GBS-SNP-CROP GitHub page for more details and User Manual:
https://github.com/halelab/GBS-SNP-CROP.git

Best regards,
Arthur Melo

Thank you for posting your paper and making your software available. Are you interested in a conversation about the impact of Keygene's announcement a few weeks ago about their patent, and how that influences freedom to operate in the area of genotyping by sequencing generally? I am happy to take that discussion off line if you wish.

Regards,
Callum
