I just came across a recently published paper:
where they did RNAseq starting from single cells, performing all reactions (1st + 2nd strand cDNA synthesis + PCR) in one tube without purification.
To lyse the cell they used SLB (Single cell Lysis buffer) from Illumina. I was wondering whether anybody knows the composition of this buffer. Apparently it doesn´t inhibit any of the enzymes used later on in the protocol...
