  • Adapter Trimming Nextera

    Hi,
First, I's my first time in the sequencing world. I just begin a new post-doc, with totally new subject and totally new tools.
    SO, I NEED YOU !!!!

I sequenced my two first genome (20Mbp each) with the MiSeq Illumina and the Nextera Kit (two in one read).

In my lab, they use the CLC Genomics Workbench to generate the contig.
    So, i download my data.
And the next step is to suppress the Adapter Trimming.
But in the list, i don't know which one choose.

I know, i can add the Adapter Trimming in the liste , but i don't know the sequence.

    So, my question is :
Do you know the sequence of the Adapter Trimming in the Nextera Kit ?

    Thank you

You have to get them from the company, as discussed in this thread.

By the way, welcome to SeqAnswers and don't forget to search before posting.

Essential Discoveries and Tools in Epitranscriptomics
      by seqadmin

The field of epigenetics has traditionally concentrated more on DNA and how changes like methylation and phosphorylation of histones impact gene expression and regulation. However, our increased understanding of RNA modifications and their importance in cellular processes has led to a rise in epitranscriptomics research. “Epitranscriptomics brings together the concepts of epigenetics and gene expression,” explained Adrien Leger, PhD, Principal Research Scientist on Modified Bases...

      Current Approaches to Protein Sequencing
      by seqadmin

Proteins are often described as the workhorses of the cell, and identifying their sequences is key to understanding their role in biological processes and disease. Currently, the most common technique used to determine protein sequences is mass spectrometry. While still a valuable tool, mass spectrometry faces several limitations and requires a highly experienced scientist familiar with the equipment to operate it. Additionally, other proteomic methods, like affinity assays, are constrained...
