Combining data from 2 lines

Hi,
someone can talk me about the requirements that must have the computer used in the analysis of data generated by 2 or more lines of a flow cell? My computer collapses when I combine data of 2 lines...

It depends on your memory. If one lane of solexa data is about 1 gigabytes, then you must have 2G memory to handle 2 lanes.
