Does anyone know if you need a special permit to import animal DNA samples from EU to the U.S.? Or any other special requirement needed? I would appreciate your help.

I've sent human DNA from europe to the US via fedex. It clearly said human DNA on the package and they didn't seem to mind. It got through customs OK without any kind of permit. It might be different for different species. I'm guessing europe won't mind it leaving but you might have to check if the US will mind it arriving.
