Agencourt Ampure purification kit - exp date

    Hi,

does anybody has experienced with an expired ampure kit?

the product datasheet says that the yield is consistent throughout the 12 months shelf life, but I wonder how much it impacts the performance afterward,

    thanks for any information,

I know this is an old post but just came across it...I haven't tried this yet but a number of other posts suggest titrating your ampure beads using a DNA ladder/marker. See the Roche technical bulletin 2011-002 (attached). That would give you an idea of how functional the beads are after expiring.

I have just run a test on our AMPure XP beads, between new beads with ones that were 4 months over their expiry date. I compared different titrations on a ladder, and saw no difference whatsoever!

It's hit and miss for us.
Sometimes they work well, sometimes we've run samples with out of date beads and lost everything. I guess some of it may depend on how many times they've been used (i.e. brought up to room temp and cooled again).

Beyond CRISPR/Cas9: Understand, Choose, and Use the Right Genome Editing Tool
          by SEQadmin2

CRISPR/Cas9 sparked the gene editing revolution for both research and therapeutics.1 But this system still showed severe issues that limited its applications. The most prominent were the heavy reliance on PAM sequences, delivery limitations, double-stranded breaks that prompt unintended edits and cell death, and editing inefficiency (both in targeting and in knock-in reliability).

Despite this, “CRISPR helped turn genome editing from a specialized technique into

          by SEQadmin2

Proteomics platforms are evolving rapidly, with advances in mass spectrometry and affinity-based approaches expanding what researchers can detect and at what scale. As the field moves toward deeper proteome coverage and clinical applications, scientists face an increasingly complex landscape of tools. This article will explore how researchers are navigating these choices to find the right platform for their work.

The systematic characterization of the human proteome has
