Let's start one! I've got some in a list but figured we could all do it quicker, so I'm opening this one up to everyone!
29 Dec 08: Some great work by everyone, I've started to compile it below. Please let me know if you have comments, corrections, or additions to anything. Everything is listed in region-company alphabetical order to remain fair. ![]() 21 May 09: Many additions thanks to everyone who posted here, and to mjleaks for compiling them for me! ![]() 28 Oct 09: Many more additions, added states and alphabetized the US. Sincerest apologies for even *insinuating* that NZ was part of the Australian continent. Oceania FTW.

Hehe.. ECO is desperate! Ok... will send you the list of sequencing providers I know. There are so many out there. It'll help if everyone contribute a bit.

Any idea the cheap sequencing from Complete Genomics will start? I heard rumors of 1-2 years. Any one have a credible source? Genome sequencing in the thousand dollar range will change all of us do science.

I use Liverpool university and have had good results, I've also found a couple more universities who have recently got 454 sequencers:
York University Technology Facility http://www.york.ac.uk/depts/biol/tf/...cs/GL_454.html and Newcastle University http://www.ncl.ac.uk/ihg/research/fa...flx/gsflx.html |

Hi,
Although we are not taking orders yet (June 2009 is our service launch), Complete Genomics is a human sequencing service, using our own technology. http://www.completegenomics.com Sincerely yours, Thon Complete Genomics |
