I am planning to use Ion 16S Metagenomics Kit (7 hypervariable region) and Ion PGM 400bp for my 16s metagenomic project. Can anyone suggesting how many samples should I multiplex in what chip for i) stool sample ii) swap from hand of food handlers? Or what kind of output should I at least have to call out the bacteria community?
