Hi,
m using 454 single end data for assembly, i have got its assembly using newbler assembler as well as Mira assembler. M getting just 309 contigs with Newbler whereas more then 900 contigs with Mira, so which assembly should i consider to be better.how can i validate my assembly to be right?
and my 2nd question is how can i perform scaffolding of the contigs, the scaffolding that comes with Mira uses pair end data and insert size for scaffolding, can anybody please suggest me some tool for scaffolding having single end reads data.
