I am extremely new to Biopython and was hoping someone could help me. I have downloaded the complete GenBank files for Salmonella enterica serovar Typhimurium SL1344 (it has 3 plasmids and one chromosome and I have concatenated all of them into one file). I have a list of 123 gene names that I would like to make a Multi-FASTA file for. Is there an easy way to do this? Thank you so much for any and all help.

I suggest you read http://www2.warwick.ac.uk/fac/sci/mo...genbank2fasta/ but also why not download the matching per-gene FASTA file from the NCBI and filter that?
