1000g individual based analysis

Hey folks,

I'm a newbie in this area so please excuse me if my question is too obvious.

I am using the 1000 genomes database to check which mutation each individual have in a certain gene. I know how to analyze in a variant level, by I am having a hard time to check per individual. Do you know how to do that? Or if this even possible?
