The next version of IGB (6.3, scheduled for release in mid-June or sooner) will support partial loading of local and remote BAM and wig files.
Some sample data from the Loraine lab you can try out using the Arabidopsis thaliana TAIR9 genome are here:

When viewing the sample files, be sure to first select species A thaliana and genome version June 2009.
