Dear all,
I'm a phD student with no bioinformatic background.
It's my first post here and hope someone can help me
I've done whole genome sequencing on some cell lines (no match normal) and used Breakdancer to look for potential fusions/translocations.
I'm using IGV to visually inspect the big list I received with the possible translocations. Though I'm coming across so many different patterns that I'm not sure if can say that they are real or not.
Does anyone have more information/examples on how to exclude false positive by visual inspection?
I've contacted IGV help, and this forum was recommended by them.
Hope somenone can give me some help with this!
Thanks
Diana
