  • Had a question, Need some advice

First, and foremost, I have read through some of the threads previously posted and find them very interesting. I'm very close (2 semesters) away from finishing my Master's Degree in Mathematical Statistics and I work at an Occupational and Environmental Health Clinic. I have enjoyed my work and I'm looking to do a PhD in Biomedical Informatics or Biostatistics at the University of Utah.

With this said, outside of the statistical programs I have used (SAS, R, and Stata) I have no computer coding or computer language experience. I was wondering if there was a preferred language to start with?

    Thanks everyone!!!

Or .. You could just devise the algorithm and let a pro do the actual coding.
