I am looking for high quality service of PacBio platform in Asia.
A genome project using Illumina and 454 data assemblied in 37 scalffolds, and we want to get PacBio long reads to help us finishing the genome.
    Any advice?

PacBio lists all of their providers here: http://www.pacificbiosciences.com/su...cing_provider/

It looks like DNA Link in Korea might be an option for you.

        PAC BIO services

We sent our samples to the University of Mssachusetts' service. After more than one month without answer, we were told that our samples did not contain enough DNA. We rechecked by bioanalyzer and nanodrop aliquots kept in our lab, and it turned out that we had sent double that amount that they requested. Reach your own conclusion

Bioanalyzer and nanodrop are worthless for quantifying DNA. Run a picogreen assay and report back.

We also run agarose gels and size integrity and concentration were perfect. Three independent methods yielded the same result.

If you search for a company in mainland china, you can try this one:

                  http://www.hanyubio.com, located in Shanghai.

I received ~500 Mbp of sequenced reads for one run, and seems to be good job.
